A third-party laboratory, AIMPLAS, ran the actual BioBottles® rigid HDPE bottle through the Association of Plastic Recyclers' Critical Guidance Protocol HDPE-CG-01, the benchmark US recyclers use to decide whether a new package belongs in their stream. The finding: no disconformities at blend inclusion rates up to 50%. Tensile strength at 50% inclusion measured 27.6 MPa, matching the conventional control at 27.6 MPa, a delta of zero, according to AIMPLAS report AST-23-203, 4 December 2023. In plain terms, "inclusion" means the share of the recycled batch made up of BioBottles® material.
